Back to our roots

We grew up in these trees.
Now we take care of them.

The Perfect Grounds started with one bucket truck, one climbing kit, and a simple belief: tree work is a craft, not a commodity. Every crew we send is trained in-house, held to the same safety standards, and paid to slow down and do it right.

We service homes, HOAs, commercial properties, and builders across Knox, Blount, Sevier, Anderson, and Loudon counties — and we treat every property like it belongs to a neighbor. Because most of the time, it does.

"If we can't tell you why we're making a cut, we don't make it. Trees don't heal — they seal. Every choice is permanent."

Cleaner than we found it

Chipped, hauled, blown off, raked. You come home and can't tell we were there — except for what's no longer in your way.

Word travels fast
in East Tennessee.

We don't run big ads — most of our calls come from a fence-line conversation or a next-door recommendation. That's exactly how we like it.

Answers

Questions people usually ask.

How much does tree removal cost?

Honest answer: it depends on the tree, the location, and access. A backyard removal near a house takes longer, more rigging, and more crew than an open-yard drop. That's exactly why our estimates are free and on-site — we'd rather look at it than guess. Most single-tree removals we do fall between $500 and $3,500.

Are you insured?

Yes — general liability and workers' comp. We'll email you a certificate of insurance before we start work if you'd like to see it. Never let a tree company on your property without one.

Do you clean up all the debris?

Every job includes chipping the brush, hauling off the wood, and blowing off driveways and hardscape. If you want the firewood cut and stacked or the chips left as mulch, just say the word.

What if a tree falls in a storm?

Call us. We answer 24/7 and can usually get a tarp on the roof and a crew scheduled within hours. We work with all major insurance carriers and can send documentation directly to your adjuster.

Do you top trees?

No — and no reputable arborist will. "Topping" scars a tree for the rest of its life and creates dangerous, weak regrowth. If a tree is too tall for its spot, the honest answer is either a proper crown reduction or removal.

How soon can you come out?

Most free estimates happen within 2-3 business days. Storm and emergency work moves to the front of the line, day or night.
